The Treasure hunt is set off from a local Chester pub; we try to use a pub with a unique atmosphere that lends itself to the heritage of Chester. Each team starts the hunt at the same time, taking instruction from a personalised historic parchment treasure map.
The map and other Treasure Hunt instructions will be enclosed in a team-briefing box sealed with red ribbon and sealing wax. Each team will follow a different route, giving the teams an element of excitement and competition. |
| The Treasure Hunt will be observational, picking up clues along the way, solving problems and visiting pubs to answer questions hosted by the bar staff. (3-4 pubs). | |
The aim is to find your way to the final venue with all questions answered correctly, there is no time limit, and points are awarded for correct answers only and not for 1st team to finish. |
| All teams have an emergency envelope if it all goes wrong! | |
At the final venue, teams will be awarded points and a prize will be made for 1st and last place. |
